LTSpice is an essential tool for electronic engineers wanting to test out new circuit ideas before spending time and money building them.

I use LTSpice on my workstation (Windows 10) and occasionally on my MacBook (macOS Big Sur) when working remotely. I recently had to upgrade LTSpice on my Mac but after installation macOS complained that the application was damaged and couldn’t be opened.

The solution to this is to run the following command in terminal:
